Fairbanks Ice Dogs sweep Texas Tornado, stay atop NAHL West Division
FAIRBANKS — The Fairbanks Ice Dogs closed their North American Hockey League series against the Texas Tornado with a 3-2 win Saturday night at the Big Dipper Ice Arena. The win marked the third in as many days for the Ice Dogs against the Tornado, completing the sweep.
‘Local line’ helps Ice Dogs withstand Tornado
FAIRBANKS—It was the local trio of Alec Hajdukovich, Tayler Munson and Jared Linnell that pushed the Fairbanks Ice Dogs to a 6-5 NAHL victory over the Texas Tornado Friday night. The win is the team’s second over the Tornado, a member of the NAHL’s South Division, in as many days.
