FAIRBANKS — The Fairbanks Ice Dogs closed their North American Hockey League series against the Texas Tornado with a 3-2 win Saturday night at the Big Dipper Ice Arena. The win marked the third in as many days for the Ice Dogs against the Tornado, completing the sweep.

FAIRBANKS—It was the local trio of Alec Hajdukovich, Tayler Munson and Jared Linnell that pushed the Fairbanks Ice Dogs to a 6-5 NAHL victory over the Texas Tornado Friday night. The win is the team’s second over the Tornado, a member of the NAHL’s South Division, in as many days.

One way the Ice Dogs took advantage was with their power play, scoring three times with the man advantage to aid a 5-2 victory in the first of three games between the former South Division rivals.

FAIRBANKS—The Fairbanks Ice Dogs found themselves down 2-0 not even five minutes into Saturday’s NAHL game against the Alaska Avalanche. The Ice Dogs went on to lose 5-2 and fall one point behind the Avalanche atop the West Division.

FAIRBANKS—The Fairbanks Ice Dogs are going into the Christmas break with a gift from California — a sweep of the Fresno Monsters in a three-game North American Hockey League series. The Ice Dogs prevailed 3-1 Saturday night at Fresno’s Selland Arena, and Fairbanks’ ninth win in a row.

FAIRBANKS — The Fresno Monsters scored the first and last goals of the game, but the Fairbanks Ice Dogs scored enough in between to claim a 4-2 North American Hockey League victory Friday night in Fresno.
