FAIRBANKS, ALASKA- The Fairbanks Ice Dogs swept the Anchorage Wolverines last weekend with a 4-3 overtime win on Friday and a 2-0 win on Saturday at the Dip.
Brady Welsch scored the OT game winner with less than a minute to play Friday night. Meanwhile Kayden Hargraves celebrated his birthday by stopping each of the 35 shots he faced on Saturday.
Julian Recine enjoyed a 5 point week, with 2 goals and 2 assists against Anchorage. He added an assist against Janesville earlier in the week.
The Dogs next head to Anchorage for another Club 49 Cup series against the Wolverines this weekend.
