Ice Dogs lose, split series with Minot

Third period magic ran out on the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Saturday night.

After winning their first three home games of the season with strong third-period efforts, the Ice Dogs gave up goals in the final seven minutes and suffered a 4-3 North American Hockey League loss to the Minot Minotauros in front of a stunned capacity crowd at the Big Dipper Ice Arena.
