FAIRBANKS — The Fairbanks Ice Dogs are unbeaten so far this North American Hockey League season, but they were tested on Wednesday morning by the Aberdeen Wings in an opening game of the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota.
Fairbanks prevailed 3-2 for its fifth straight win of 2015-16 after the Wings, of South Dakota, evened the scored at 2 in the second period.
