FAIRBANKS—For the second time this season, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs trailed when entering the third period of a North American Hockey League game.
And for the second time this season, the Ice Dogs responded in the third period. Fairbanks scored twice in the first two minutes of the third period as they beat the Brookings Blizzard 3-1 on Saturday at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota.
