It’s been a grind for the Dogs, including three intra-squad scrimmages during training camp week, the final of which ended with a short tilt in the northeast corner if the Big Dipper rink. The Dogs are salty and ready to face a team wearing an opposing logo on their chests.
“We really haven’t even scratched the surface in learning who we are as a team,” said Ice Dogs head coach Trevor Stewart. “These two exhibition games against Anchorage will help give us an idea of where we are at heading into regular season play.”
The Ice Dogs open regular season play Sept. 10 against the Minnesota Magicians in Richfield, Minn. The home opener comes Oct. 1, when the Dogs host the Kenai River Brown Bears at the Big Dipper Ice Arena. Season Tickets are on sale now. PURCHASE SEASON TICKETS HERE.
